The Problem

WWII began on September 1, 1939 with Germany’s aggression against Poland. As soon as Germans occupied the Polish territory, they started building concentration camps there, similar to those they had created in Nazi Germany since 1933, when Adolf Hitler came to power.

Auschwitz-Birkenau was the largest out of 29 Nazi Germany concentration and death camps built on the territory of Nazi Germany and German occupied Europe.

During the war Germans killed 5,5 million European Jews, including ca 2,8 million Jews who were Polish citizens. It is estimated that one million of them died in Auschwitz-Birkenau.

In view of the above, the lawyers of the Patria Nostra Association represent the last living inmates of Auschwitz-Birkenau before the European courts. The former prisoners feel personally violated by the so called „Soft Auschwitz Lie” i.e. misapplying blame for the Holocaust to Poles.
